#15 Nakuru Lake

Nakura Lake is located 87 miles from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It is one of the greatest havens for flamingos. Thousands are seen every year making the lake their temporary home.

What ever attracts these birds here remains a mystery. It sill shows you how weird it can be to see such an occurrence.

#14 Jiuzhaigou, Nonfreezing Lake

Jiuzhaigou called the Nonfreezing Lake is located in Sichuan Province, China. It is an amazing lake because despite freezing temperatures the lake never freezes. This is extraordinary because all lakes freeze when the temperature is cold enough with lots of snowfall. This just looks beautiful despite being weird.

#13 Lake Baikal

Lake Baikal is located in the Russian region of Siberia and sits in the mountain area. It is located close to the Mongolian border and during springtime. The lake produces circles on its surface some so large they can only be seen from space, the reason given is methane in the water. When the ice melts the circular shapes are the result.
